Appointments

Consultations are by appointment only.  Appointments can be made by calling Bergitte on
07711 539 488.  Please leave a message if no one is available to take your call.  We will get back to you at our first opportunity.

What to expect

The first consultation takes approximately 1 to 1½ hours and involves taking a full medical case history and performing any necessary physical examinations.  This will give the herbalist a broad picture of your overall health and constitution and will help highlight the root cause of your illness.  This allows for a thoroughly individualised treatment with the longer term aim of lasting healing.

A treatment plan will be formulated together with you, taking your individual needs and circumstances into consideration.  The treatment usually includes lifestyle and dietary advice, along with the appropriate herbal prescription.

A follow-up appointment is normally arranged for two weeks later in order to assess the patient’s progress and get feedback.  Thereafter follow-up appointments will usually be made according to the individual needs of the patient.  Follow-up appointments last approximately 30 minutes. All discussions with your herbalist are strictly confidential.

What type of medicines will I be given?

A blend of herbal tinctures (alcohol based herbal extracts) is most commonly prescribed. In some cases dried herbs for infusions will be prescribed, along with preparations such as creams, ointments and pills.

High quality organic tinctures made from fresh whole plant materials are used wherever possible in order to ensure optimum quality and a naturally balanced medicinal product.

Recycling: Please return any medical glassware for re-use and recycling.

Location

Hounslow/Whitton borders

Bergitte's main practice is located at 94 Argyle Avenue, which lies between Hounslow and Whitton town centres. 

It is a 5-10 minute walk from Hounslow train station (Zone 5).  Whitton Road is serviced by the 281 bus route, which runs between Hounslow and Tolworth.

If you are travelling by car please enter Argyle Avenue from Whitton Road (there is a barrier half way down Argyle Avenue).  94 Argyle Avenue is located on a corner overlooking an island of large trees.  

Parking is usually available.

Twickenham

Bergitte also practices at the Maple Leaf Clinic on Twickenham Green on Thursday mornings between 9am and 1pm.

Cost

Initial consultation (1-1½ hrs): £50

Follow-up consultation (±30min): £30

Herbal medicines:

A one week supply of herbal tincture typically costs £8, with teas, ointments, creams

 and pills being individually priced.

Payment should be made at the end of each consultation by cash or cheque.

Cancellations must be made at least 24hrs in advance, otherwise the full consultation fee is payable.
